Joint seals
As a structure's sensitive construction detail, component joints should be executed by qualified specialists.
Since it first started sealing superstructure joints 21 years ago in 1990, KTW has completed and/or repaired well over 1 million joint metres in various areas and using various product systems:
- Elastic joint tape systems based on polysulphide, polyurethane or silicon
- Superstructure joints with elastic joint sealing materials according to DIN 18540
- Joint seals with precompressed foam profiles (sealing tapes)
- Repair of joint edges with plastic modified mortar systems
- Joint seals pursuant to the WHG (Water Resources Act)
- Mineral oil-resistant tank base seals in catchment areas
- Special solutions for accessible and traversable areas / components
- Removal and disposal of asbestos-containing joint fillers pursuant to TRGS 519
