Injection methods
KTW provides services in two main areas of injection methods:
Sealing injections
- Elastomer resin injections for sealing cracked concrete components, where the flexibility of the injection media offsets crack movements
- Surface / curtain injections for the subsequent sealing of externally inaccessible components (e.g. out basement walls), joints, cracks with movement; both in horizontal and vertical execution
- Subsequent horizontal sealing of masonry for protecting against capillary rising moisture in a borehole process
Force-fitted injections
- Crack injections in concrete components with low viscosity EP resins, high-strength elastomer resins or mineral suspensions
Reinforcing masonry injections through the force-fitted closing of cracks and cavities with injection suspensions
